The makings of my custom palette! It’s far from finished though, we lost a few on the way but it’s coming along. I will do a full description of what’s in it and a tutorial when its done. By the way Coastal scents is a BITCH to depot. Not a fun experience, and I do not recommend it. Haha.

P.S. sorry about my lack of posts lately, December is the busiest month ever for me! Holidays, vacations, finals, AND I picked up a few sidejobs plus the usual full time. So basically I come home and sleep and that’s it. Social life? What’s that?

In my October Birchbox I received yet another Pangea Organics product (They’re nice and all, but I’m collecting the whole set over here Birchbox!) and I had the chance to try it out a few weeks ago.
I was not thoroughly impressed with this product, but perhaps I am just bored with the brand? It is similar to the rest of the Pangea products that I have tried in that is smells very organic and herbal, and has never left my skin feeling dry or irritated. In my experience Pangea is a very gentle brand. But, it had a very strange texture and unless applied with a very heavy hand, uneven coverage.
The mask left my face feeling hydrated and balanced. Reminded me a bit of Lush’s facial masks that need to be refrigerated, but spend your money on those instead because they are a lot better quality. It is not something I would repurchase, although I will use the rest of it eventually.
Here is a picture of the fun that my sister and I had with this bizarre, leafy concoction. Yes I am wearing a tin foil hat. No I do not remember why. That is all.

In the winter time the air is dry, which is great for keeping curls or a sleek straight look, but winter time also creates the perfect conditions for split ends, and dry hair. Winter is coming soon, so here are a few tips and products that will keep your hair soft, shiny and healthy.
Take your dry, end of the day hair and brush it out gently from bottom to top, to reduce breakage.

Take a spray bottle full of water, or a wet brush and dampen your hair until it is thoroughly moist all the way through.

Conditioner of choice: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, can be bought at your local drug store, Walmart or grocery store. ($3-4 depending on where you buy) Squeeze out a sizable amount, or enough to apply to the length of your hair. Work through with fingers, focusing on the ends.

Twist and wrap your hair up into a messy but functional bun and secure with a hair elastic.
Wait thirty minutes and wash out in the sink, or in the shower. Blow dry WITH HEAT PROTECTORS!!!!! These are very important! They keep your hair safe from damaging irons and dryers.
I recommend these:

Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray: Again, commonly found wherever hair products are sold, very cheap also $3-4.
Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide: This is a more pricey option for heat protection, can be found at some CVS and Walmart stores, but it depends. $16
Redken Extreme Anti-Snap: This isn’t a heat protectant but I wanted to show it because I used it on her hair, and it is a leave in treatment for split ends. Runs about $18.
And…

Voila!!!! Very smooth hair after one conditioning, and better results over time.
Special thanks to my little sister and model, Bella. <3

Hope this helps!
